Braids are so charming and feminine. They can turn a boring hairdo into an interesting style. What are the most popular braids? Learn how to make them step by step.
A braid is the first hairdo little girls learn to make. The longer the hair, the more beautiful and spectacular the hairstyle. Braids are extremely easy to make and come in lots of versions. The traditional and French braids are the best known. Do you know them all?
Traditional Braid
Divide hair into three sections. Put the left strand on the middle one. Take the right strand and put it on the middle one. Carry on until you braid all strands.
FRENCH BRAID
Grab a strand at the top of the head; leave the rest loose. Divide the strand into three sections and start a traditional braid. Bring a strand from the right side of hair into the braid, crossing it over to the center; repeat with the left side. Carry on until all strands are braided.
DUTCH BRAID
It’s another version of a braid. Grab a section of hair at the top of the head and divide it into three chunks like in the French braid. Cross the right and left strand alternately under the middle strand. As in such braids, add a strand from both left and right side every time you cross the strands.
FISHTAIL BRAID
Divide hair into two chunks. Take a thin strand from the left-side strand and cross it over to the other side. Next, do the same with the right strand. Repeat until creating the whole braid.
