Dry and Damaged Hair – Causes

Before talking about a conditioner and a hair masque Creme de Coco from Bumble and Bumble, a few words concerning dry and damaged hair. In most cases, we are the ones responsible for such poor condition of the hair. To demonstrate, the type of cosmetics we apply and the styling devices we tend to use influence state of hair considerably. In short, the core element of our hair being dry and damaged belongs to improper work of our sebaceous glands, which are located in our scalp. If the glands do not produce the right amount of sebum, our hair cannot be properly lubricated and nourished. The other reasons why our hair is in bad condition are improper diet, putting on of cosmetics destined for other hair types care, use of a blow-dryer and a straightener (hot air produced by hair styling devices leads to water and keratin evaporation from the inside of hair), air conditioning, the sun as well as environmental pollution.

Luckily enough, Bumble and Bumble cosmetic brand has created a set of care products, which are able to regenerate and nourish dry and damaged hair. These cosmetics are Creme de Coco Shampoo, Creme de Coco Conditioner and Creme de Coco Masque. All the products make hair moisturised, smooth and glossy. Naturally, such manner of working is possible only due to the composition. The shampoo consists of coconut and kemiri nuts oil, wheat extract, astrocaryium murumuru (palm tree) butter, soya proteins as well as of maize starch. Beside all the enumerated ingredients, the conditioner contains also oil of Limnanthes Laba and Ximenia Americana seeds. The Masque in turn is composed of Shea and mango seed butter, keratin and pro-vitamin B5. How to use each of Creme de Coco from Bumble and Bumble cosmetics? Basically, the shampoo has to be applied on damp hair and massaged into scalp until foam is created. Because of presence of lubricating substances, the cosmetic has to be rinsed thoroughly. When it comes to the masque, suffice to use it once a week. It is destined to be kept in damp hair for seven minutes and rinsed with lukewarm water afterwards. The conditioner in turn has to be applied with the use of a comb, and rinsed after 1-2 minutes.
